
Operating as the Vice President of Technology, Jason Dana makes sure our processes are designed right and that we have the right equipment to make them work. Bringing over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, Jason has held engineering and leadership roles that emphasize capital project design and execution with both operating companies and EPC contractors. He has experience taking processes from laboratory to pilot to commercial scale in addition to roles in Operations Management. Prior to joining Aries, he served as the Principal Process Engineer at Utility Global where he led the development of a groundbreaking electro-chemical technology that converted waste gas into hydrogen.
Jason’s deep understanding of control systems and process automation has allowed him to optimize operations and the efficiency of our gasification technology. Recognized and awarded for his innovation and records set throughout the years, he is also the co-inventor on multiple patents related to sustainable energy processes, including a granted patent for Electrochemical Hydrogen Production.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University and holds a Professional Engineer License (Chemical) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. His experience spans not only the chemical industry but oil & gas and power generation, leading engineering teams or engineering on projects from $10,000 to more than $1 billion.
